Designing a website template sounds simple — until you try to make one that works for lots of different businesses.
We recently created a new template for small business owners who want to build their own website without starting from scratch. Here’s how we approached it:
Start with the essentials
Every small business needs the same core pages: Home, About, Services, and Contact. We made those the foundation.
Make it easy to personalise
The template uses flexible colour settings, built-in global styles, and sections that can be swapped out without breaking the layout.
Design with confidence in mind
We focused on clear headings, easy-to-read text, and space for strong visuals. It’s clean and modern, but not cold or generic.
The goal? A template that looks good out of the box — but still feels like your website once you’ve added your words, images, and brand style.
